EDITORIALS: WOMEN OF THE REVOLUTION

Denim is a staple in every fashionista's closet. A complete contrast from its humble beginnings. Looking back-- because of its durability & comfort it was the uniform of slave labourers, plantations workers and gold miners in the 18th and 19th century. The denim we adore, undergone numerous reinventions from time to time before landing on designer's catwalks & straight to every clotheshorse's closets. SOME Magazine's second issue in collaboration with Nicole Corbett & Bianca Christoff celebrates the evolution of this clothing article & reminds us of the milestone of women in reclaiming their power.
