GISELE FOR THE COVER OF i-D (SIMPLY PERFECTION)

With only half of her face showing, she shows us a close-up of her fresh-faced beauty while covering one eye with her flowing blonde hair. Gisele Bundchen proves once again why she's a supermodel. The lingerie-designer (who needs a Victoria's Secret contract, if you can design your very own line?!) sports a reddish-coral top and natural makeup for her close-up.

THE BRAZILIAN INVASION

It was in the late 90s, when Gisele Bündchen led the first wave of Brazilian models to find success in the International Fashion Industry and herald the end of "heroin chic" era of modeling. Up until now, the world's fifth largest country, both by geographical area and by population remains to be the prime country in scouting the world top models who possess long legs,  prominent cheekbones and exotic features.
